What are the fees to invest or hold an account with Citi International Personal Bank and what is the minimum balance?

Citi International Personal Bank is constantly striving to meet your international banking, offshore fund and offshore saving and investment needs.

When you join our organisation you are making a commitment to us that deserves reward, and in return for maintaining our minimum balance of US$200,000 (or currency equivalent) we offer you access to a wealth of services and products and a dedicated Relationship Manager.

The relationship balance a client has with Citi International Personal Bank is determined by the total AUM (assets under management) across all products. The monthly balance is calculated by totalling your daily balance and then dividing this by the number of days in the month.

How much does it cost for overseas ATM withdrawals?

There is no cost if you withdraw cash from the currency account of the country you are in. For example if you withdraw Euros from your Euro account, whilst in Europe, it will be a fee-free withdrawal. If you withdraw Euros whilst in Europe, and you card is linked to your GBP account, there will be a foreign exchange conversion rate applied.

If you need to transact in another currency, e.g. traveling in Europe and need to use your Euro account, you can change the linking of your account simply by contacting your Relationship Manager.

Will it cost me to open cash accounts in multiple currencies?

No, there are no additional costs. But remember the minimum balance requirement is US$100,000 (or currency equivalent).
