Olena Myronenko, Treasury Operations Head

I’ve been working for Citi more than 10 years and it is more than just a job for me. It is a way of thinking, an attitude to clients and methods of doing business globally. Company values and culture respond my own values, so it is easy to find the motivation for everyday work.

I started my career as intern at the former Foreign Currency Control unit. I’ve occupied different positions within O&T that eventually led me to my current role.

I like being a part of a global community, enjoy the possibility of connection with colleagues all over the world and sharing experiences. Satisfied customers, highly qualified colleagues, interesting projects and initiatives and new working challenges inspire me the most.

Curiosity, enjoying the work process, self-education through books, trainings and courses and fearlessly taking challenges. All help me in reaching goals.

I believe Citi will take me to new goals and achievement.

Serhii Borysov, International Funds Transfer Supervisor

Citi means solving difficult issues using non-standard approaches and adhering to procedural points.

I love automating any process or providing an easier approach with the same results; but with quicker and a more convenient preparation stage. Even when it is difficult, you can get help from other employees – even from other departments. This helps me to become a part of something big.

I started at Citi in 2008 through an internship from my university. I initially went to the Foreign Currency Unit Department which then included Currency Control Unit and my IFT unit.

My current role from June 2021 is International Funds Transfer Supervisor and I continue participate in implementing different projects in the bank.

It is cool to be a part of big changes.

Andrii Korshunov, IT Business Lead Analyst

In 2006 I graduated from Poltava National Technical University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Cybernetics. After graduation I moved to Kyiv. My first job in Kyiv was system administrator in a small training center. In 2007 I joined Citi!

Citi was the first serious job in my life. All this time it is intense and challenging with many opportunities that I decided that it’s a place where I want to stay and grow.

Citi is really an interesting place to be. Every new year, every new change brings something new - new contacts, new tasks, new skills. At the moment, I`m responsible for project management and business analysis in various projects in Ukraine’s TTS Technology team.

During your work you are able to connect with people all over the world. In the morning you`ll be working on a project with someone located in China or Singapore and in the evening you`ll wait for an engineer from Texas. It’s amazing.

So, my advice - seize the moment. If you see an opportunity – take it. Never refuse to take new assignments, new tasks and, perhaps in the future, I will use a new opportunity to move all over the world trying different roles in different “Citi countries”.

Kseniia Bereznaya, Relationship Manager

I had a number of internship assignments in different organizations and one of them was at Citi in GSG where I was responsible for completion of KYC forms for all RMs. I graduated from the University with a Master’s degree in banking and was selected for the position of counter specialist at Citi. After one year, I moved to CitiService and then after one year more became the Head of CitiService.

I am a Senior Relationship Manager now and I think that Citi is the best place for work in the banking sector with great culture, people, values, wide network, professional development, opportunity for growth in other countries and constant care of the employee.

My clients enjoy me the most when I can manage and exceed their expectations to solve their problems promptly and efficiently, win the client deal and provide the best solution for their complicated requests.

If I could give you advice I would suggest you always keep growing, find a mentor for yourself or a role model inside the organization, show your ability to learn, be proactive in everything, provide out-of-the-box solutions, be a trusted advisor for your colleagues and clients and be professional in everything you do. People will always turn to you for advise regardless of your position if they feel that you are a professional and a good team player.

I enjoy what I do, I keep growing every day and, for me, it is interesting to try myself in GSG in other countries while adding more value locally.
