Become a Diners Club Merchant

If you are a merchant based in Greece and you wish to contract with Diners Club, please read the information below concerning the required supporting legal documents and contact the Merchant Service Department at 801 11 26100 (press 2). A dedicated member of our personnel will visit you to inform you about the advantages of our collaboration and to fill in the relevant application with you.

Supporting documents required to establish a card acceptance code:

A. For SA COMPANIES

• Memorandum and articles of incorporation
• Publication of the announcement of incorporation in the Official Government Gazette
• Copies of the Official Government Gazette containing the amendments (if any) of the memorandum and articles of incorporation
• Minutes of the resolutions of the general meeting of shareholders concerning the election of the members of the current board of directors
• Publication of the names of the current board members in the Official Government Gazette
• Minutes of the resolutions of the board of directors concerning its constitution and the delegation of signatory authority
• A statutory declaration in the form provided for by the bank, duly executed by the legal representatives of the company
• A photocopy of the ID Card of the legal representative/representatives of the company

B. For UNLIMITED COMPANIES AND LIMITED PARTNERSHIPS

• A copy of the memorandum and articles of association, duly certified by the Court of First Instance, with a certificate of registration in the companies register
• Copies of the memorandum and articles of association amendments (if any), certified as described above
• A statutory declaration in the form provided for by the bank, duly executed by the legal representatives of the company
• A photocopy of the ID Card of the legal representative/representatives of the company

C. For LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANIES

• A copy of the memorandum and articles of association, duly certified by the Court of First Instance, with a certificate of registration in the companies register
• Publication of a summary of the memorandum and articles of association in the Official Government Gazette
•  Copies of amendments (if any) of the memorandum and articles of association, certified by the Court of First Instance as described above, with copies of the relevant publications in the Official Government Gazette
• A statutory declaration in the form provided for by the bank, duly executed by the legal representatives of the company
• A photocopy of the ID Card of the legal representative/representatives of the company

D. For SOLE PROPRIETORSHIPS

• Business commencement certificate
• ID Card photocopy

Note: : The legal documents of SA Companies, Limited Liability Companies, Unlimited Companies and Limited Partnerships are not required in case the company is an existing customer of Citibank. Existing customer means a company that has at least one demand deposit/current account with the Bank.
