1. Citibank N.A. Egypt (Citibank) customers holding a Citibank Credit cards (Cardholders) are eligible to take part in the CITIBANK REWARDS PROGRAM, which rewards the Cardholders for using their Citibank Credit cards (“Citibank Rewards”). Benefiting from Citibank Rewards shall be at all times subject to the terms and conditions outlined hereinafter

2. In order for a cardholder to benefit from Citibank Rewards, his/her Citibank credit cards, as applicable, must be valid and in good standing as per the criteria and standards applied by Citibank from time to time. The Cardholder’s acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined hereinafter shall be deemed satisfied upon redemption of his/her Reward points

3. During the continuation of Citibank Rewards, for each ONE Egyptian Pound (or equivalent foreign currency) charged by the Cardholder to his/her Citibank Credit card for purchase of goods or services, the Cardholder will be awarded one Citibank Rewards point. Citibank reserves the right, to be exercised at any time and without any prior notice to the Cardholder, to change the ratio between (a) a Reward points to be awarded; and (b) the specified amount charged to the Cardholder’s Citibank credit card.

4. All transactions charged to a Cardholder’s Citibank credit card are eligible for Reward points except for the following:
a) Annual fee of the Cardholder’s Citibank credit cards;
b) Cash advances;
c) Finance charges
d) Late payment charges;
e) Balance transfer and other unauthorized charges;
f) Foreign exchange purchases;
g) Any other transaction determined by Citibank to be subject to claims, mistaken, unauthorized, illegal and/or fraudulent.
Citibank may, as its sole discretion and without prior notice to the Cardholder, add to, or remove from, the above list of eligible charges and transactions. Citibank’s decision as to what constitutes an eligible charge shall be final and conclusive.

5. Reward points awarded to the Cardholder will be shown in the Cardholder’s monthly statement, and will be redeemed in such manner as set out in the Citibank Rewards Catalogue for Goods and Services, which will be redeemed by the Cardholder upon his/her request

6. The Cardholder may only redeem those Reward points registered and credited to the Citibank credit card account of the Cardholder at the time of making the redemption. The books and records of Citibank shall be conclusive evidence in respect of the number of Reward points registered and credited to the Cardholder’s Citibank credit card account.

7. In addition to any other conditions outlined in these terms and conditions, Reward points accumulated under the Cardholder’s Citibank credit cards account are only redeemable by the cardholder if the Cardholder’s credit card account is operating (i.e. not cancelled, blocked or terminated by the Cardholder or Citibank or any competent authority) and current (i.e there are no past due balance on the Cardholder’s Citibank Credit Card).

8. The cardholder’s Reward points accumulated under will be cancelled if the Cardholders Citibank credit card is:
a) Closed; or
b) Not in good standing in the opinion of Citibank; or
c) Has expired without being renewed; or
d) A breach of the Citibank Credit Card Agreement has occurred; or
e) Any other event, which, in the sole discretion of Citibank should result in the cancellation of the Reward points
Points collected will be automatically cancelled after 24 months from the date of earning. Without prejudice to the foregoing, Citibank reserves its right, to be exercised at any time without prior notice to the Cardholder, to apply time limitations on the validity of the Reward points earned by the Cardholder and credited to the Cardholder’s Citibank credit card account. Any unprocessed redemption order for Reward points that have been cancelled, shall not be processed by Citibank.

9.Any order placed for the redemption of Reward points for any of Citibank Rewards in the Citibank Rewards Catalogue is subject to Citibank’s approval, the availability of the Citibank Reward at the time of placing the redemption order by the Cardholder, as well as, any restrictions applied by the suppliers of the redeemed Citibank Reward. Citibank may without prior notice to the Cardholder withdraw or substitute any of Citibank Rewards for another reward of comparable value or nature. 10. Citibank shall only be responsible for forwarding to the Cardholder the Rewards Gift Letter of the Citibank Reward requested by the Cardholder. Citibank is not and shall not be considered at any time as the supplier of the Citibank Rewards available under the Citibank Rewards program. Rewards Gift Letters shall only be valid for collecting the Citibank Reward from the supplier, subject to the Cardmember following the instructions indicated on the Rewards Gift Letters

11. Citibank shall not be liable for any loss of profit, savings, contract, revenue, interest or goodwill or any consequential, indirect, incidental, special or punitive loss, damage or expenses or loss of data sustained by the Cardholder as a result of redeeming the Citibank Reward(s) and/or possessing and/or using the redeemed Citibank Reward(s) nor shall Citibank be responsible or held liable for any amount payable by the Cardholder to any third party arising out of the purchase, supply, quality, installation, use or otherwise of Citibank Rewards, or of any negligence, breach of statutory or other duty on the part of Citibank and/or the supplier.

12. Citibank gives no warranty whatsoever (whether expressed or implied) and undertakes no liability in respect of the quality of Citibank Rewards or their suitability or fitness for any purpose.

13. Redemption orders once submitted to Citibank cannot be cancelled, revoked or changed by the customer.

14. Citibank reserves the right to disqualify any Cardholder from further participation in the Citibank Rewards Program, if in Citibank’s sole judgment, that Cardholder has in any way violated these terms and conditions and/or the terms and conditions of his/her Citibank credit card Agreement. Suspension and disqualification may result, at Citibank’s sole discretion and nullification of all Reward points earned by the Cardholder.

15. Citibank is entitled, at any time and without any prior notice or liability to the Cardholder in any manner whatsoever, to terminate Citibank Rewards Program and/or cancel and/or vary its benefits or features, and/or vary, add to delete any of the terms and conditions outlined herein, and/or withdraw or change the participants of Citibank Rewards Program, and/or modify or limit the value of Reward points and/or the manner of their redemption even though any of such acts may diminish the value of the Reward points already accumulated.

16. Rewards Gift Letters, offered under Citibank Rewards Program, are not exchangeable, refundable, or redeemable for cash or credit under any circumstances. Such cash coupons are not replaceable in the event of loss or destruction after being issued and are subject to such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the issuer of the same.

17. All Citibank Rewards selections are non-returnable. When deemed necessary by Citibank and/or merchant partners of the Citibank Rewards, they may make similar substitution without advance notice to the Cardholder. Citibank Rewards offers are void where prohibited by law.

18. Every effort has been made to ensure that the information contained in the Citibank Rewards Catalogue, which may be dispatched to the Cardholder, from time to time is accurate. Citibank is not responsible for any errors or omissions, which may appear on the Citibank Rewards Catalogue.

19. These terms are translated from Arabic to English for Convenience only. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between the two versions, the Arabic version will prevail.

20. These terms and conditions are subject to and shall be construed in accordance with Egyptian Laws, and any claims arising in connection herewith will settled by Cairo competent courts.
