Mobile Alerts for Travel Cards

We are pleased to announce that all Federal Government cardholders are now able to receive the benefits of email and SMS alerts for their Citi corporate card. Alerts can be set to notify cardholders when a statement is ready to view, when a payment is due, when a payment is past due, as well as notification when the Cardholder is getting close to their remaining credit limit balance. These alerts can simplify their travel card experience by informing cardholders about recent account activity and upcoming payments due, helping to reduce the risk of out-of-pocket spend or additional fees for missed payments.

In order to enjoy these benefits cardholders must take the following actions to set up their account for personalized SMS and email alerts.

  1. Log into CitiManager
  2. Click "My Profile" on top navigation bar
  3. Click the "Alerts" link below your cardholder details
  4. Select your desired SMS and e-mail alerts on Alerts page
  5. Add the desired mobile phone number in the designated box and accept the terms and conditions. Add the desired email address(es) by clicking the "Manage Email Address" link and entering address(es) into available boxes that appear.
  6. Save your changes by clicking the "Save" button on the bottom of the page. Your alert enrolment process is now complete.
  7. After Step 6, the alert process is complete. For Federal Government Clients, there is a final SMS confirmation step required before Citi will begin sending SMS messages.

  8. Retrieve the activation code from the registered mobile phone
  9. On the CitiManager alerts page, enter the activation code

By simply subscribing to these alerts via the CitiManager portal, Cardholders can receive short messaging service (SMS) and e-mail updates on balances, statements, transactions and other relevant information about their accounts on the go.
