Anupamhas been active in the payments industry and regularly participates at industry panel discussions. He is Citi’s representative at the Payco board of The Clearing House (TCH). He has been on the founding board of directors of the UK Faster Payments scheme, one of the first instant payments schemes globally. He was alsomember of the European Banking Association's (EBA) committee responsible for developing the SEPA (Single Europe Payments Area) Direct Debit scheme for Eurozone markets. He was very actively associated with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in its formative years. Anupamhas also been on the Board of Directors for UK Payments scheme, BACS and was a shareholder’s representative at European Banking Association (EBA). Anupam lives in Chatham, New Jersey with his wife and two sons. He likes spending his free time with his family.
