53 Kausar Nawaz Global Lead for Data & Business Analytics, Citi Treasury and Trade Solutions Kausar has over 18 years of experience in globally managing programs focused on client centric business growth, business analytics, and in leading global teams in data, data science and AI. An adaptable, organized, and responsible performer, she delivers both tactical and strategic results by connecting business challenges to data, derive insights and advise on commercialization actions. As the Data & AI Lead for TTS, Kausar built a progressive organization which partners across Markets, Consumer banking, TTS and Bankers and brings data-driven insights on client needs, client experience and identifies areas of growth opportunities. Her team is responsible for, applying design thinking to client problems, analyzing data, developing machine learning driven solutions and training bankers, sales and relationshipmanagers on data driven insights to solve client needs. Some of her achievements include delivering an industry-first daily deposit forecasting to assist Citi’s treasury, outlier detection tool to high light risky flows to AML teams and a conversational chatbot to assist clients with common queries. Kausar’s capabilities include building partnerships, building a business analytics talent, establishing a robust pipeline of business use cases, and streamlining the end-to-end development and implementation process by establishing a program structure and strong governance with focus on ROI. Her other mandates include mobilizing the TTS organization with trainings and knowledge sharing on self-service tools and data assets to promote data culture, adopt insights, commercialization, help bankers initiate client conversation and bring back the feedback to continuously improve existing solutions.
