19 Ana Grisales, MBA, BBA Sumitomo Corp. of Americas Ana Grisales has been in the treasury field for more than twenty-five years, with experience in accounts payable, receivable, treasury management, and operations. Her educational background includes a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor's in accounting and information systems. When initially hired at Sumitomo as accounts receivable coordinator Ana helped build the shared service center in the Americas, establishing procedures for collecting and posting receivables. Being a treasury operations manager has allowed her to play an instrumental role in the research, development, and implementation of new processes that have greatly improved productivity at Sumitomo. Ana stays proactive in deterring fraud by enforcing all measures at Sumitomo. In a Fraud Prevention Ana helped to implement practices, procedures and products that will deter fraud. Ana performs bank product evaluations and bank system support. She continuously works closely with Citibank to enhance treasury operations. All while pursuing her dreamof a treasury department that can support all of Sumitomo Group companies and subsidiaries with treasury expertise at all levels. Leading by example, showing enthusiasm, ethical behavior, and compliance is something that Ana Grisales learned during her career journey and permeates to everyone around her.
