Laura Gasparini Global Head of CitiDirect, Treasury and Trade Solutions, Citi Laura is the Global Head of CitiDirect ® for Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business. In this role, she is responsible for our digitized global banking platform that provides one-click access to global transaction capabilities using an intuitive and user-centric workflow. Laura spent 11 years at Capital One where she led the company’s U.S. Consumer Card Acquisitions platform. She worked in product marketing and data transformation, and most recently in platform strategy, delivery, and scalability. Prior to Capital One, Laura worked in new product development as a part of the Perrigo Company, where she designed and delivered infant formula and baby foods/snacks. Laura is passionate about the Product Management and its role in software development. She pushes herself and her team to build solutions which meet client and customer needs, include rigor around architecture, design, and delivery, while ensuring teams feel empowered, engaged, and rewarded. This commitment to the product craft led her to partner with Capital One senior executives in 2018 and establish a pilot program at the company built to define the consumer card business’s Product job standards. This effort included defining recruiting standards and job-level expectations, driving engagement, and providing career development for product managers. This program has since grown to be adopted by all product leaders, managers, and associates at the company. Laura grew up overseas in a diplomatic family and moved to the states in high school. She attended the University of Virginia and fell in love with Charlottesville, Virginia where she now lives with her husband, two daughters, and three dogs. She is a keen gardener, traveler, and scuba diver and extremely passionate about ocean conservation and climate change.
