Between Q2 and Q3 the Citi Commercial Cards team has been rolling out new features within the CitiManager platform to enhance the user experience for both Program Administrators and Cardholders. The below items are now live across EMEA and APAC, with LATAM to be finalised at a later date.

  • View PIN – allows the ability for a cardholder to view their PIN used for POS and ATM transactions. Due to the sensitivity of the data, an additional security step needs to be completed.
  • Activate Card - cardholders will now be able to activate their new or replacement cards via CitiManager.
  • Every Transaction and Declined Transaction Alerts – two new real time alert options; 'Every Transaction Alert' is sent for each successful authorisation that occurs on the card. This has been made available to all cardholders, however cardholders will need to login to CitiManager and subscribe to the alert before they begin receiving it. The 'Declined Transaction Alert' informs cardholders of a declined transaction and the reason for the decline. This currently has the same setup as the Every Transaction Alert, however as per Citi's recent communication, from October this will become a mandatory alert for all cardholders.
  • View Authorisations and Declines – you and your cardholders will now be able to see pending authorisations (transactions that are approved but not yet settled). In addition, you and your cardholders will be able to see declined transactions along with the reason for the decline.
  • Temporary Credit Limit Increase – provides the ability for you to add a 'Temporary Credit Limit' onto a card, either immediate or pre-dated.
