Citi Expands CitiDirect Banking Evolution (BESM) Service to Over 70 Countries
New York, NY - April 11, 2013 –Citi has expanded its CitiDirect Banking Evolution (BESM) service to over 70 countries with a client-friendly upgrade that provides enhanced feature functionality and client service experience. By mid-year, CitiDirect BE is expected to be available in over 95 countries.
CitiDirect BE, the evolution of the award-winning CitiDirect® Online Banking platform (CitiDirect®), represents a multi-year investment and delivers a new client experience with a contemporary design, enhanced navigation and optimized user interface. Features include:
- A new portal and single point of entry with enhanced self-service tools and analytics applications
- A seamless, simple upgrade from CitiDirect to CitiDirect BE that eliminates the need for complex and disruptive migrations
- Easy access to business critical information via analytics dashboards and reporting
- Customer advances including electronic bank account management (eBAM) and digital identity services
- Mobile functionality providing anytime, anywhere access
CitiDirect BE provides authorized users with full visibility and control of their banking accounts and activities. Its business intelligence and analytics capabilities help corporations gain quick insight into critical information to facilitate assessment of operational performance and improvement opportunities. CitiDirect BE advanced features allow clients to analyze current results relative to historical metrics while filtering information by selected criteria. The offering also features an electronic bank account management (eBAM) module, using digital identities, that streamlines the signatory management and account-opening activities.

CitiDirect BE also offers clients a mobile window into their bank accounts with CitiDirect BE Mobile. Since commercializing the application in late 2011, CitiDirect BE Mobile has processed more than $40 billion in total transaction value. Later in the year, Citi expects to roll-out CitiDirect BESM to tablets in select countries.
