Citi Appointed Successor Depositary for Diageo’s ADR Programme

London - February 15, 2013 – Citi today announced that its Citi Transaction Services business, acting through Citibank, N.A., has been appointed by Diageo plc (“Diageo”), the world’s leading premium drinks business, as the successor depositary bank for its American Depositary Receipt (ADR) programme. Diageo’s ADRs trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “DEO,” with each ADR representing four ordinary shares. Diageo’s ordinary shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange.
