Applications are open to established FinTechs and growing technology companies from around the world. Companies will be selected for the Citi FinTech Integration Program based on their verified answers to questions about their organization and their solution’s relevance to the Challenge statement.
Graduates of the Citi FinTech Integration Program will understand the requirements of working with a large financial institution by engaging with Citi's internal functions via EIRs, office hours, webinars, AMAs, and much more.

External mentors for the Program will vary by Challenge as they will be tailored to each cohort. Participants of the Program can expect expert guidance and dedicated support from major cloud providers, industry thought leaders, and experienced founders.
There is no charge to apply or participate in the Citi Open Innovation Challenge. However, participants are expected to cover their own costs if needing to travel to New York during the final live demo at the end of the Program. Citi will not take equity from participants as part of the Program.
Yes, at least one of the participants will be selected for a cash award.
Selected participants are expected to have at least one key member engaged during the Citi FinTech Integration Program.
Selected participants are required to be present in New York during the final week of the Program for the live demo.
Yes, an NDA is required for all participants.
Yes, participants of the Program will work with Citi to promote their involvement and outcomes.
Although most of the Program is virtual, the final week requires at least one representative of each participant to attend the NYC live demo portion of the Program in person to be considered for the cash award and design workshop. Participants are responsible for their own travel costs.
