The transaction involving the acquisition of the retail portfolio of Citibank Romania by Raiffeisen Bank S.A. is now effective, following approval of the Competition Council. The transfer date is July 1st, 2013.
Starting with July 1st, 2013, the transfer of the retail portfolio shall produce its effects in relation to the transferred customer agreements, as further detailed in the customer notifications already communicated by Citibank Romania and Raiffeisen Bank.
Citi Romania and Raiffeisen Bank are committed to working on a seamless transfer of Citibank’s customer accounts to Raiffeisen Bank’s system. Raiffeisen Bank is determined to ensure a continuation of the level of service to which Citibank Romania’s customers were used to.
