CitiConnect for Files Providing a single channel for transmission and receipt of files from anywhere in the world, CitiConnect for Files integrates payments, receivables and information with clients’ TMS/ERP systems. CitiConnect allows you to streamline your file exchange and messaging processes with your enterprise-wide treasury management, ERP and other cash management systems in the format supported by the Bank from its proprietary treasury system onto Citi’s destination server using one of the connection methods supported by Citi (e.g. FTP, HTTPS, CitiConnect, CitiDirect).

CitiConnect API: API-technology (Application Programming Interface ) allows Citi to expose a menu of TTS products and services to our clients anytime, anywhere through customized integration. Through API Clients also have the ability to process and receive instant payments using their accounts, where available. Citi can report full account statements that include all transactional details.

CitiConnect for Swift combines Citi’s core strength—unmatched geographical coverage and a rich product set—with the power of the secure and resilient SWIFT network. which supports an alternative method of exchanging messages through a secure HTTPs connection.

CitiConnect for Files: Connectivity & Security

File Format capabilities: ISO XML (most popular file format), CBI XML, EDIFACT, CP2E (a proprietary format to Citibank), IDOC (a proprietary format to the SAP ERP system), others eg. CDFF

Security Types: FTPS (implicit and explicit SSL), SFTP (with password or certificate), AS2 (with http or HTTPS), HTTPS
