Citibank Hungary named Best Foreign Bank and Best Investment Bank in Hungary in EMEA Finance's Europe Banking Awards 2011

Citibank Hungary was named Best Investment Bank in Hungary for the fourth year in a row, as well as the Best Foreign Bank in Hungary by EMEA Finance Magazine as part of their annual financial institution ranking, the Europe Banking Awards 2011.

EMEA Finance is a bimonthly premier publication that is dedicated to report major financial events and happenings initiated and influenced by the international financial industry active across the EMEA region: in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

According to EMEA Finance's criteria, the prestigious Europe Banking Awards recognize the achievements of leading commercial and investment banks in Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States and Russia that stand out among their peers, demonstrate leadership in their home markets, top the performance and deal-making tables both in individual countries and across the region. The awards consider various performance and structural factors, such as market share, growth in important product classes, profitability and corporate strategy.

The winners will be honored at an award ceremony in London in May 2012.
