The new Citi Life credit card program with extended benefits to resonate with the needs of today's customer provides a 3 percent return on food retail purchases, a 2 percent return on petrol spends and a 1 percent return on all other retail purchases across Hungary in addition to existing program benefits. The new Citi Life cards are designed to allow for a safe contactless payment at PayPass terminals in case of purchases up to HUF 5000 in support of a faster, easier and more convenient shopping experience with the new card.

There are more than 100,000 PayPass terminals in 14 countries in EMEA, and around 2,000 in Hungary, including fast food chains, groceries, health and beauty shops, cafés, news stands, cinemas and other specialty shops.
Average percentage rate (APR) of Citi Life Credit Card is 29,9%, interest rate: 2,95%, if applied for Citi Life card in Citi Plus package or by online registration (except with application via card type change): 29.9%, interest rate: 2,04%. In each monthly settlement period for purchases made in resident retail groceries up to the maximum amount of HUF 100 000, for fuel purchases in Hungary up to HUF 50 000, 3% and 2% respectively shall be re credited, for purchases above these limits a Citi Forint recredit of 1 % is due. Recredit is due for each HUF 100 spent with Citi Life card. Citi Forints are credited within three business days of the booking day of Citi Life card purchases. The up-to-date list of Citi Life partners can be found at the website www.citilife.hu. The first PayPass purchase with Citi Life card should be with the usage of chip and PIN. Paying with Citi Life card contactless (with PayPass function) independently from the purchase amount the PIN code should be given based on security or other reasons.
