Sovereign Credit Ratings have served as a baseline for international institutional investors in determining their allocation of capital across a spectrum of countries in the developed and emerging markets. However, rating methodologies and process are not always well-known and understood, and the approaches of rating agencies in assessing sovereign credit risk have been challenged, particularly in frontier markets.

Join us on Wednesday, October 23nd and witness a live sovereign rating committee simulation conducted by the Moody’s team, followed by an engaging discussion on the role played by ratings and the responsibilities of the rating agencies. The discussion panel will include key stakeholders within the investment community: issuers, investors, rating agencies and official sector.

Personal Release

For good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I grant to Citigroup, Inc. and its authorized representatives, agents, parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, successors and assigns the irrevocable and unrestricted right and license to record, film, photograph, tape and otherwise capture and reproduce, distribute and store, in any manner, my name, stage name, nickname, title, voice, likeness, picture, image, interviews, participation in panel discussions, performances, exhibitions, conversations and sounds, including any performance of any musical composition(s), and to extract and use any statements I make as quotations, either with or without attribution of my name as the source of the quote, in connection with the Recordings (as that term is defined below) tentatively titled “Sovereign Credit Ratings: Process & Practice” to be created on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 8:00 - 10:00am. All images and sound captured on tape or otherwise shall be referred to in this Personal Release as “the Recordings.” Furthermore, Producer shall have the right and license to use any biographical material that I furnish.

I agree that Producer shall exclusively, in perpetuity and on a worldwide basis, (i) own all rights, including the copyright and the right to seek copyright protection and registration, in the Recordings and any proceeds generated as a result of the use of the Recordings; (ii) have the right to edit and use, in whole or in part, the Recordings, in any manner or Media (as that term is defined below), and in all languages, throughout the universe; (iii) have the right to license others to edit and use, in whole or in part, the Recordings, or a reproduction thereof, in any manner or Media; and (iv) be entitled to use the Recordings as Producer deems appropriate, including, without limitation, for promotion and publicity purposes. “Media” for purposes of this Personal Release means any Media, whether now existing or created in the future, and shall include by way of illustration only: television broadcasts and rebroadcasts; newspapers, magazines, and books (both paper and electronic); Internet (including web casts, multimedia links and social networking and other third party content hosted sites); videotapes; CD’s; DVD’s, and electronic databases.

I further agree that Producer may use and license others to use my name, voice, likeness, quotes and any biographical material concerning me that I furnish, in any and all Media and in the promotion, advertising, sale, publicizing and exploitation of the Recordings and/or otherwise and in connection with Producer or affiliated services, throughout the world in all Media, an unlimited number of times in perpetuity.

Producer is under no obligation to exhibit or use the Recordings in any manner. I waive (i) the right to inspect or approve the Recordings or any use of the Recordings; (ii) any rights to injunctive relief that I may have in connection with this Personal Release; (iii) the right to revoke this Personal Release; and (iv) any moral rights I have in the Recordings.

I acknowledge that Producer will rely on this permission, potentially at substantial cost to Producer, and hereby agree not to assert any claim of any nature whatsoever against anyone relating to the exercise of the permissions granted hereunder. I release and agree to hold harmless and indemnify Producer, its licensees and assigns from all claims (including, without limitation, claims for libel, defamation, false light, copyright infringement, rights of publicity and/or invasion of privacy), demands, causes of action, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses of any kind and reasonable attorney’s fees which may arise out of or in connection with the creation and/or use of the Recordings. I agree that no sum shall be due to me for the execution of this Personal Release and Producer shall not be obligated to pay me or any third party any sum whatsoever, regardless of the time or method of any future use of the Recordings.

I represent that any statements made by me in the Recordings are true, to the best of my knowledge, and that neither they nor my appearance will violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party.

I certify that I am 18 years of age or older and have full legal right to enter into this agreement.
