CCB United States Country Business Head
Richard Banziger was appointed to his current position in 2014 and is a 30-year veteran of Citi. He has held various senior positions in Citi's Leveraged Finance, Capital Markets, Asset-Based Finance and Risk Management groups, with assignments in Chicago, Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles and New York. From 2010-2014, he led the global corporate credit risk team for Citi's Institutional Clients Group and has been a senior member of Citi's Risk Management organization. Prior to that, he led Citi's Asset-Based Finance business, which, under his leadership, grew revenue and assets and improved operating efficiency. He joined Citi as a summer intern with the Private Bank in 1984.
