Opening your Citibank Account:

Before you apply:
1. How do I qualify for an account through Global Executive Banking?
You must be employed with a corporation that establishes you as an international assignee or be an international professional working outside of your country of residence or nationality. You will have to provide the required documentation to complete your application package.

2. How do I apply?

If you have questions, you can contact your Global Executive Banking Service Officer or call CitiPhone Banking® at (813) 604-3290 or 1 (866) 213-0890 (toll-free within the U.S.), available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, except U.S. holidays.

3. How much does the Global Executive Banking Service cost?
Per check fees and non-Citi-ATM fees are waived for clients in Global Executive Banking account packages.

For the Citi Global Executive Account package, the monthly Global Executive Banking Service fee of $25 is waived if the daily combined average balance of all your linked deposit and non-deposit accounts is $25,000 and above. A Global Executive Banking Service fee will be charged on any given month during which your balance falls below $25,000. In addition, an account monthly maintenance fee may also be charged depending on the type of account and the services you have selected. These monthly fees are waived if you are a participant in a corporate-sponsored program.

For the Citi Global Executive Preferred Account package, the monthly Global Executive Banking Service fee of $50 is waived if the daily combined average balance of all your linked deposit and non-deposit accounts is $100,000 and above. A Global Executive Banking Service fee will be charged on any given month during which your balance falls below $100,000.

4. How can I apply for a Citibank account through Global Executive Banking?
Because we know that Global Executive Banking customers are located around the world, you may mail your account application package with the required documentation in order to open your account. As an added convenience, Citibank Global Executive Banking offers you various tools to manage your account(s) from anywhere in the world and at any time, including:

CitiPhone Banking®: provides you access to your bank accounts through an automated telephone system.

Citibank® Banking Card: allows you access to over 892,000 network ATMs around the world so you can transact on your accounts or withdraw money as needed.

Citibank® Online: our award-winning Internet Banking service, that enables you to conveniently access your account balances, pay U.S. bills, and request other banking transactions through the internet.

CitiFax: special forms designed with security features that allow you to communicate with us via facsimile.

5. Do I need to have a Citibank account in my home country in order to transfer money?
No, you can transfer money from your Citibank account through Global Executive Banking to any bank account in your home country.

6. Can I submit my application through a Citibank Financial Center?
No. For your convenience and to avoid delays, please mail your completed forms along with the required documents to:

7. If I have questions regarding my account or on accessing other Global Executive Banking products and services, whom should I contact?
If you have any questions or require additional information, you can contact your Service Officer or contact us.

After you apply:
1. What should I expect after I send in my application?
You should receive your Welcome Package by mail within 10 business days after your application is processed. This package includes your account information, a set of CitiFax forms, and (if ordered) a checkbook and a Citibank® Banking Card. For security reasons, you will receive your Personal Identification Number (PIN), allowing you to activate and utilize your Citibank® Banking Card and Citibank® Online access, in a separate mailing within 10-14 business days after you receive your account information. If you need your PIN sooner, please contact us.

Managing and transacting on your account:
1. How do I report a lost or stolen Citibank® Banking Card?
If your card is lost or stolen or if you have ordered a card and have not received it after 14 business days, please contact us to report it as soon as possible.

2. How do I request a wire transfer?
You may request a wire transfer by using Citibank® Online, CitiFax, Citibank Global Transfer service, or by establishing standing instructions. Please contact us if you have any questions.

6. If I have checks that I need to deposit and I am not near a U.S. Citibank Financial Center, how do I deposit them?
Checks must be payable to yourself, in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. financial institution. Place your Citibank Account number on the back of the check and write "For Deposit Only”. You must mail your check to the following address:

For greater security and faster receipt, we recommend that you mail your check via a courier service (i.e. UPS, USPS, DHL, Federal Express). Please note that checks in the U.S. are subject to a funds availability schedule, as noted in the Citibank, N.A. Marketplace Addendum for Global Executive Banking customers therefore, funds may not be immediately available for withdrawal.

7. How do I order checks? What is the cost?
You may order a set of checks once your account has been funded. Checkbook fees for Citi Global Executive Accounts includes courier mailing costs and will vary depending on the style of the checks and the quantity ordered (between $30 - $50).

Checkbook fees for Citi Global Executive Preferred Accounts are waived.

8. How do I make direct deposits of my pay into my account?
Please make sure to complete your company’s direct deposit form and forward it to the appropriate department within your company.

9. How do I update my personal information on my bank account(s)?

10. How do I find a Citibank Financial Center in my country of residence?
To locate a Financial Center, visit our corporate internet site at: www.citibank.com, click on and choose the region and the country of residence. You may contact us.

11. What services are available over the Internet?
Once your account has been opened, you may access your account online by visiting www.globalexecutivebanking.citi.com and clicking on Citibank® Online. It’s fast and convenient. Some examples of things you can do via Citibank® Online include: obtain account balances, verify and request wire transfers out of your account*, pay U.S. bills, sign up for Paperless Statements, re-order checks, update your mailing address and request email alerts.
*Please be aware that when you request funds transfers via the internet, transfer fees may apply. For details on fees, please refer to the Citibank, N.A. Marketplace Addendum for Global Executive Banking customers.

12. What type of transactions can be done via CitiFax?
You can send us requests to perform financial transactions, such as wire transfers. You can also send us non-financial transaction requests, including re-ordering checks or updating your mailing address. You can also use CitiFax to make any changes to any planned or recurring money transfers, provided we receive these types of requests before the programmed transfer is executed. 13. What are the services that CitiPhone Banking® provides?
Citibank’s touch-tone service, CitiPhone Banking®, allows you to check the balance and recent activity in your account, use the U.S. Bill Payment Service and re-order checks. You must have a Telephone Personal Identification Code (TPIC) in order to use this service and you will need to set-up the TPIC by contacting us.
