Global Investment Opportunity form Citibank® 

This is a unique investment program that is designed to help you be the architect of your own and your family's financial well-being. It combines the benefit of long-term growth potential for your investment portfolio with the security of principal protection in the event of death. MFS Architect combines the following benefits which make it a complete estate planning tool.

Growth Potential
You may choose from a range of globally diversified mutual funds & fixed accounts which can help you invest across equity funds, balanced funds, bond funds and fixed tenor accounts.
Principal Protection Benefit
You may choose to protect your principal by selecting 7/10 Year Principal Portection Program. Charges for the principal protection are refunded if the value of the account after 7/10 Year period is above the principal investment amount. You can also choose to lock your gains and increasing the principal protected amount.
Death Benefit
The Principal amount is protected in the event of death and may be passed on to the heirs nominated by you. This death benefit is guaranteed by Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada.
Transfer of Wealth
MFS Architect is registered in Bermuda rather than your country of residence so that you may be able to transfer this asset to the heirs of your choice. MFS Architect is registered in Bermuda; Certificates are issued in Bermuda; and records are maintained there.
Liquidity Benefits
Every year, you may withdraw the greater of 10% of total deposits or previous year's earnings, free of charge. The program allows you the flexibility to withdraw upto 10% of the total deposit, or previous years earnings, incase of any short-term liquidity requirements. Over an above this, you can also enjoy overdraft facilities from Citibank®.

MFS Architect contracts are issued by Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada. The Butterfield Trust Ltd. of Bermuda, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of Butterfield, Bermuda, acts both as the trustee and the custodian of the assets (of the participant owners) held under this program.
