Fly Faster with up to 8 Skywards Miles/ USDollar' Offer 2009
This offer ("Offer") was valid for a limited period, between June 21, and September 30, 2009. Skyward members conditionally pre-qualified for the Card can still apply between June 28 and October 31, 2009. To be eligible for the Skywards Miles ("Miles"), the applicant ("Applicant") must apply for an Emirates-Citibank Ultimate Credit Card ("Ultimate") or Emirates-Citibank Gold Credit Card ("Gold") during the Offer period ("Promotion Period").
Citibank N.A. ("Citibank") reserves the right to extend the Promotion Period from time to time using its sole discretion. Furthermore, Citibank reserves the right to terminate the Offer at any time and without prior notice. An Applicant submitting his/her application, with respect to the aforementioned credit card(s), prior to the start date and post the end date of the Promotion Period will not be eligible to avail the Offer.
The following individuals are not eligible to avail the Offer stated herein: (a) existing Citibank Credit Cardmembers (including Supplementary Cardmembers, split limit, second card, upgrade and conversion cases); (b) employees of Citibank, Emirates Airlines ("Emirates") and its associated companies respectively; (c) Applicants who wish to pledge against the Credit Limit of the Credit Card to avail this Offer; (d) Applicants who have applied during Sign & Fly 2008 and subsequently closed their Card Account(s); and (e) Applicants who have closed their Card Account(s) after January 15, 2009.
Under this Offer, Applicants who are issued Emirates-Citibank Credit Cards will be eligible to earn extra Miles ("Accelerated Skywards Miles") on retail transactions carried out with their Credit Card during the three month period ("Spend Period") following the month of their Credit Card approval. The last date for earning the Accelerated Skywards Miles will be on the following (tentative) transaction posting dates depending on the month of the Credit Card approval:

Such Accelerated Skywards Miles will be transferred to the Skywards Account of such Applicants on a weekly basis (subject to eligibility). Following the Spend Period, Applicants will earn regular Miles with respect to the transactions charged on their Credit Card (i.e. 1.5 Miles per USD spent on Ultimate and 1.25 per USD spent on Gold). No Miles will be transferred to the Skywards Account if any payment to Citibank is past due, or if the Credit Card is on an Over Limit block. Utility bill transactions affected through CitiPhone and Citibank Online will only earn regular Miles even during the Spend Period and the amount of Miles earned thereon will be subject to caps set at Citibank's discretion.
Applicants who have applied online during the Promotion Period will be entitled to receive bonus sign-up Miles as stipulated herein subject to approval of the Credit Card and receipt of full payment pertaining to the Annual Membership Fee on or by the first Payment Due Date. The Annual Membership Fee for Ultimate is AED 1,000 and Gold is AED 550.
Pre-approved Applications are conditionally pre-qualified for a Credit Card. All Credit Cards are approved at the sole discretion of Citibank. Citibank reserves the right at its absolute discretion, to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time, without prior notice. 25,000 Complimentary Skywards Miles Offer Terms and Conditions
All applicants who are issued Emirates Citibank Ultima Credit Cards during the continuation of this promotional offer will be granted a bonus of 25,000 Skyward Miles in the Skywards Miles Program, subject to the following terms and conditions:
  • Bonus Skywards Miles will be credited to Cards' accounts 45 days after payment by the applicant of the applicable first annual membership fee, activation of the Card and payment of any amounts due, as determined by Citibank

Skywards Miles

100,000 Skywards Miles Promotion Terms and Conditions
  • This promotion is valid for a limited period from February 19 till February 28, 2009.
  • Customers who are currently holding any Citibank credit card or have closed such a Citibank credit card account during the 3 months preceding the Promotion start date will not be eligible for this offer.

Terms and Conditions Associated with the Annual Membership Fee (AMF) Reversal Offer
1. In order to be eligible for AMF reversal for the first year only, You are required to spend an amount equivalent or greater than:
a. AED 1,000 on your Citibank Silver Credit Card,
b. AED 3,000 on your Citibank Gold Credit Card, or
c. AED 8,000 on your Citibank Ultimate Credit Card; (whichever applies)
2. You are required to reach spend of the amounts specified above with in 60 days from the date my credit card was approved
3. Payment of AMF, financial charges and bank fees will not be considered as part of the spend criteria specified above
4. Both cash and retail transactions will be considered as spend
5. The AMF will be charged on your first statement and you are expected to pay the full amount
6. If the spend threshold is met or exceeded within the time specified, you will receive an AMF reversal which will get reflected in the third statement
7. If you do not reach the spend criteria you will not receive an AMF reversal
8. You are not eligible to receive an AMF reversal even if you meet the spend criteria but fail to make the minimum payment against your card

Unlimited Lounge Access
Unlimited lounge access to the listed lounges is available to both Basic/ Primary and Supplementary Cardmembers upon presenting their Emirates-Citibank Ultimate Credit Card.
Specific lounges require Cardmembers to carry colored copies of Lounge Access Coupons along with their Emirates-Citibank Ultimate Credit Card and boarding pass for verification.
Lounge Access will be discontinued if the Emirates-Citibank Ultimate Credit Card is cancelled, downgraded or blocked.

Priority Pass Membership is applicable only to Emirates-Citibank Ultimate Credit Cardmembers approved prior to September 15, 2011. Cardmembers will be able to avail 2 complimentary visits per Card year only under this program using their Priority Pass card. All visits in excess of the 2 free visits will be charged at USD 27 per visit per person. Cardmembers can avail lounge access under this program up till December 31, 2011, post which the Priority Pass card will be blocked.
