of hardware / network budget is allocated to the
production environment, and the remainder toward
the disaster recovery / continuity of business
environment
• Some of the reduction of on-site data centers
for franchise funds is accounted for in their
increased use of self-hosted off site data centers.
Franchise funds represent the segment most likely
to host their own off-premises data centers, as
they are 18% more likely to do so, relative to the
average fund
