Although the tax advantages of LSIFs make them a popular choice among investors, they can be difficult to administer because of government rules, amendments, clauses, qualifications and exceptions. For this reason, many administration departments resort to manual record keeping, tax forms and redemption claw-back calculations when it comes to LSIFs.
