Technology Tips for Cardholders

Share these helpful how-to tips with your cardholders: How to obtain a copy of a statement, get a cash advance, or initiate a billing dispute.

  • Obtain a copy of a statement: Statement copies can be obtained from the Landing Page. Access home.cards.citidirect.com, and once you have self-registered for the site, click on the "Statement" button to the left. Click the “Download” link to have the statement printed in CSV, Excel or PDF format.
  • Obtain a cash advance (provided a cash limit has been assigned to the card): If a cash limit has been assigned to your card, a PIN mailer would have been sent that contains a 4-digit PIN. You can now have the PIN assigned by phone. You can use the PIN to make cash withdrawals from an ATM that displays the MasterCard, VISA or Cirrus logo. If your PIN is unknown, cash may be obtained from most bank tellers with a picture ID.
  • How to initiate a billing dispute: Billing disputes may be initiated by calling customer service. Additionally, cardholders with access to the CitiDirect® Card Management System can use this CCMS menu option: From the Inquiry/Statement dropdown menu, click the dispute button next to the transaction you wish to dispute. Note: If there are multiple transactions you do not recognize, it is best to contact Citi at 1-800-790-7206 to determine if fraud has occurred, and if the account should be closed for security reasons.
