Passwords
Copy and paste the password sent to you for any Citi Web-based tool. This will prevent the error of entering an incorrect password. Simply highlight the password, press the Ctrl and C keys to copy, then press the Ctrl and V keys to paste into the password field.
Smartpay 2 Account Number Updates
Remember to notify your travel-management group and any bill-pay service that your old SP1 account number is no longer active and has been replaced with a new SP2 account number. This will prevent your SP2 account payments from being misdirected to your old SP1 account, resulting in your SP2 account becoming past due.
Contacting Cardholder Customer Service
DoD Travel Card cardholders have 24/7/365 access to customer service at 1-800-200-7056. The caller is first given clear instructions on how to register for online payments and is then asked to enter their 16-digit account number and the last four digits of their Social Security Number. If the numbers entered are valid, the caller is directed to the following menu of options in the cardholder Voice Response Unit:
- Option 1: Balance/Payment information includes notification of balance, available credit, available cash, last payment posted and next payment due
- Option 2: Payment Address/Ability to submit a payment by phone in a Quick Remit payment
- Option 3: Last five transactions and the number of outstanding authorizations
- Option 4: PIN Information
- Option 5: Technical Assistance
- Option 6: Report a lost or stolen card, change of address, permanent change of status or customer service
Reminder: Please have your full 16-digit account number and the last four digits of your Social Security Number available. If an account number is not entered, the caller will be asked two additional times to enter a valid number. If an account number is still not entered, the call will be routed directly to Customer Service.
