Key Transition Dates in November

The transition to SmartPay 2 is quickly approaching. Citi would like to remind you of key transition milestones and dates during November 2008. We hope you find the following list helpful, and we appreciate you working with us to get the Department of Defense Government Travel Charge Card program ready for SmartPay 2.

Ongoing Card Receipt Verification:
We encourage verification immediately upon receipt either by calling toll-free 1-888-514-2922 or verifying online at http://www.citimanager.com/DoDTravel. Outside the U.S. call collect 1-706-494-5028. In order for cards to be active on November 30, cards must be receipt-verified.

November 7:
Electronic Access System (EAS) Customer Service is available Mon-Sat 7am-9pm EST at 1-866-670-6462 or collect 757-853-2467.

November 7-21:
Citi will send out Electronic Access System (EAS) Registration IDs and Passwords to APCs. Although APCS will not have access to data at this time, self-registration should start immediately upon receiving your Registration email.

November 10:
Applications for new cardholders (Individually Billed Accounts and Centrally Billed Account) will be available on http://www.citimanager.com/dodhome.

November 10:
Citi begins processing new paper applications.

November 14:
Last date to make changes in Bank of America's EAGLS to be reflected on Citi’s EAS system.

November 15-23:
Citi will transition Bank of America data to our EAS system. Transitional maintenance will result in limited system access. In order to make maintenance changes during this timeframe, you will be provided with an interim process. Citi will provide a spreadsheet where you can capture changes from 11/15-11/23 and perform a bulkupload beginning November 24. For a bulk-upload process overview, 45-minute instructor-led webinars for APCs will be offered in November. Sign up at https://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/passport. You must register as a user to gain access to the DoD training portal, Travel Explorer (TraX).

November 24:
EAS will go live, providing full access to APC data and maintenance.

November 30:
Contract start date: Begin using Citi cards as of 11/30/08 12:00AM EST.
