Citigroup's Asian Internet Services Pick Up Key Awards From Global Finance Magazine

Hong Kong — Global Finance magazine, one of the world's leading finance magazines, has chosen Citigroup as Asia's best online cash management site for 2006. The award was decided by the editors of Global Finance with input from a panel of judges consisting of representatives from Tata Consultancy Services. Banks were selected on the strength of their strategy for attracting and servicing online customers, the success in getting clients to use web offerings, the breadth and depth of services and tangible benefits gained from internet initiatives acc ording to Global Finance magazine.

Citigroup also picked up best corporate/institutional internet bank for eight countries in the region. Citigroup was awarded the title in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Pakistan, Singapore and Thailand.

The winners of the awards will be honoured at an awards ceremony in New York in November and published in the December edition of Global Finance magazine.
