Citi Appoints New Head of Securities and Fund Services in EMEA

London - August 23, 2012 – Sanjiv Sawhney has been appointed Head of Securities and Fund Services (SFS) in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

In this new role, Sanjiv will be responsible for leading the growth of Citi’s regional SFS platform and product offering for investor, issuer and intermediary clients across EMEA. Sanjiv will sit on Citi’s Transaction Services EMEA Executive Committee and Citi’s Global SFS Executive Committee. He will report to Aidan Brady and Elias Panayotopoulos, co-heads of Citi Transaction Services in EMEA and Neeraj Sahai, Global Head of SFS.

Sanjiv brings over 20 years of experience in securities and fund services. Most recently he was Global Head of Fund Services at Citi. He previously worked at JPMorgan, where he headed Fund Services operations in Europe and was Managing Director as well as a Board Member of JPMorgan Bank Luxembourg.
