Information for the customers of Citibank Europe plc, pobočka zahraničnej banky

Citibank Europe plc, pobočka zahraničnej banky, is currently in the process of preparing its organisational and technical plan for the adjustment of banking services and smooth transition to the signle European currency as of 1.1.2009.

The bank has set up a task force the role of which is to identify detailed steps to be taken towards adjusting all IT systems, including electronic banking, and preparing the timetable and communication plan.

In order to keep its customers fully informed, the bank organises (since 2004) for its customers ‘business breakfasts’ in the presence of the central bank’s governor and finance minister (or the government’s plenipotentiary for euro adoption). So far, the bank has invited to these events businesses from Bratislava, Košice, Poprad, Banská Bystrica, Zvolen and Žilina. Apart from direct personal contacts, the bank will keep all its customers informed by means of leaflets attached to account statements and information brochures.
