Effective from 1 January 2009 eligible depositors of Citibank Europe plc, conducting its business activity in the Slovak Republic through Citibank Europe plc, pobočka zahraničnej banky are covered both by the Irish and the Slovak deposit protection systems.

While Irish system of deposit protection covers € 100.000, the Slovak system of deposit protection provides unlimited protection of deposits of eligible depositors (notwithstanding the above all claims and particular conditions are set forth by the respective laws and regulations; for more information please see attached documents).
