Wire Transfers

Domestic Payments

Intra-bank transfers are processed in an on-line mode.

Incoming payments are credited to beneficiary accounts on the day when the transfer is cleared through the National Bank of Slovakia.

Outgoing payments – cut-off times:

4 p.m. – payment orders initiated via Internet banking
1 p.m. – mailed, faxed, manual payment orders

Foreign Payments

Incoming payments in the domestic or foreign currency are credited to beneficiary accounts according to payer’s instructions. In case of currency conversion, payments are credited to beneficiary accounts on the following business day after the payment from the payer’s bank was received or the next day.

Outgoing payments - cut-off times:

1 p.m.- payment orders initiated via Internet Banking, delivered in person, by mail or fax.
