Our experience and expertise. We have nearly 30 years of experience serving law firms and their attorneys. At our 11 Law Firm Group locations in the U.S. and Europe, some 200 banking professionals of the Law Firm Group are exclusively occupied with fulfilling the financial needs and goals of our legal clientele.

Personalized, Hands-On Service. We assign each of our law firm clients a Private Banker who serves as a primary contact and liaison with the people and resources of the Law Firm Group. The Private Banker assesses the overall financial requirements of your firm and its attorneys, develops and recommends short- and long-term strategies, and assembles the resources needed to achieve your financial objectives.

How We Organize and Manage Our Relationships

First Steps: Your firm's relationship with the Law Firm Group starts with your Private Banker. Over the course of the relationship, your Private Banker performs many roles: principal contact, sounding board, analyst, strategist and your liaison with other entities of Citi.

Asking the Right Questions: The Law Firm Group knows from years of experience that we serve clients best when we know them best. Therefore, your Private Banker begins by exploring such questions as: What is your firm's business plan? How has your business changed and where do you see it going? Are you expanding internationally? How will you pay for future technological needs? Is your cash working to its full potential? What are your firm's specialties and what is their impact on cash flow? What are the risks to your business and how vulnerable is the firm to those risks?

Assembling Your Specialist Team: Armed with in-depth knowledge of your firm, your Private Banker organizes a team of specialists to work with you to achieve the financial objectives of your firm and its attorneys. For example, your team could include corporate cash management experts, lending specialists, risk managers, investment managers, and trust and estate planners. In addition, a relationship officer provides backup to your Private Banker, and an account executive is responsible for meeting your day-to-day service needs.
