Why does the Web site require cookies? What are cookies?

What are Java and JavaScript?

JavaScript is a compact, object-based scripting language for developing client and server Internet applications. JavaScript enables the browser to detect conditions in the software and inform the user how to proceed while minimizing the processing time.

Java is a more complex, high-level programming language, used to implement security features on the Citi Private Bank Web site.
