"Innovations in Banking" is a new nationwide contest organized by the Kronenberg Foundation and Citi Handlowy, addressed to second, third, fourth and fifth-year students of all faculties and study types.
Aim:
Its main idea behind the contest is to inspire young people to invent innovative business solutions. By encouraging students to enter the contest organizers wish to make the best use of their knowledge and creativity and to strengthen their confidence in their career potential.
Details:
The task of contest participants is to produce an essay outlining a creative solution of an existing business problem. Topics are chosen and reviewed by teams in selected units of Citi Handlowy that usually deal with the issue in question.
The contest attracted 119 students from 45 universities and academies countrywide.
Winner of the PLN 10,000 prize and a 3-month traineeship at Citi Handlowy in the first edition of the contest was Paweł Tatomir from Warsaw University. While working as a trainee, Paweł was involved in the implementation of his winning concept of an innovative bank branch and a new account design. Organizers awarded also five other contestants with honorary mentions and PLN 2000 prizes.
