Billings and Payments in Pesos

  Billings
Being billed in pesos for your overseas transactions is the equivalent of what would normally happen if you bought foreign currencies or traveler's checks for your overseas spending.
By purchasing foreign currency or traveler's checks, you would first exchange pesos for an international currency (most travelers are known to buy US dollars) and then exchange this to the currency of the destination country. By using the Citibank Credit Card, the overseas spending undergoes two currency changes, just as any currency / traveler's checks transactions.

Payments
With Citibank Credit Card, you have the advantage of billings and payments in pesos.

How to Pay, Where to Pay

  1. 24-Hour BancNet and Megalink Payment Facility.
    Pay your Citibank Credit Card bills through the Citibank ATM's. Simply transfer funds from your BancNet or Megalink ATM account to you Citibank MasterCard or VISA account. Your payment will be posted to your Citibank account within 2-3 days from date of payment. You may also transfer funds through other participating BancNet and Megalink-member banks such as: Active Bank, Allied Bank, Asiatrust, Banco Filipino, Bank of Commerce, China Bank, East-West Bank, Global Bank, Insular Savings, International Exchange Bank, Maybank, Metrobank, Orion Savings Bank, PBCom, PHILAM Savings Bank, Philippine National Bank, Philippine Veterans Bank, Premier Development Bank, Prudential Bank, PSBank, RCBC, Robinsons Savings Bank, Security Bank, Traders Royal Bank, UCPB, and Union Bank.

  2. GLOBAL BANK (formerly known as Asian Bank), 1st E-BANK, CHINA BANK, SECURITY BANK, UNION BANK and METROBANK Branches
    These banks accept your cash and Metro Manila-clearing check payments. Cash payments will be reflected on your account on the next banking day. Check payments will reflect on your account once Citibank receives the cleared funds.

  3. 24-Hour Customer Service
    Simply call our 24-Hour CitiPhone Banking (995-9999 in Metro Manila, 234-9999 in Metro Cebu, (02) 995-9999 from other provinces or + 63 (2) 995-9999 from abroad) and follow the simple instructions for transfer of funds. Payment will reflect on your account on the next banking day.

  4. Citibank Credit Card Payment Express Machines
    You can make your payments through the Citibank Credit Card Payment Express Machines located at Citibank branches. For your convenience, these machines are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Cash payments received on or before cut-off time will be posted on the account the next banking day, while check payments will reflect after 2-3 banking days for local checks, and after 5 days for regional checks. Check payments received after cut-off time will be considered a next banking day transaction. Cash and check payments received on weekends and holidays will be considered a next banking day transaction.

When To Pay

  Please submit your payment before the Payment Due Date stated in your Statement of Account. Cash payments received at non-Citibank branches before cut-off time will be reflected on the next banking day, while check payments received before cut-off time will be reflected after 2-3 banking days for local checks and after 5 banking days for regional checks. Check payments received after cut-off time will be considered a next banking day transaction. However, acceptance of payment is considered effective only when funds are cleared. Citibank will not be liable in case payments are lost due to fortuitous events.

Important Reminders
  • Please make separate payments for your Citibank MasterCard and Citibank VISA (if you are holding both) to avoid possible delays and penalties associated with a single payment for all your Citibank Credit Cards. You may be liable for for additional interest / fees on your account if payments are not separately made and clear instructions are not received by Citibank.

  • Please write clearly on the payment coupon and envelope your full name, Citibank MasterCard or VISA card number, and include the payment amount in words and figures everytime you make a payment.

  • If you pay by check, always make sure it is payable to Citibank (indicate Citibank MasterCard/VISA number) and write your full name in front of the check. Please attach your check payment to the Payment Coupon.

Error Or Questions About Your Bills

  In case of any billing error, please notify us immediately by calling our 24-Hour CitiPhone Banking. If no error is reported within 30 days from Statement Date, your Statement will be considered correct.
