Please beware that imposters may try to steal your Citibank account information by sending you emails that may appear to be coming from Citibank. Such Fraudulent emails typically include attachments and/or request personal information. The fraudulent email may also provide a link that connects to a Citibank look-alike website.

These may appear to come from a trusted business or a friend, but are actually designed to trick you into downloading a virus or jumping to a fraudulent website and disclosing sensitive information.

Be very suspicious of any business or person who asks for your password, National Identity Card number, or other highly sensitive or security information.

When such emails are sent in our name, the Citibank Global Information Security team works aggressively with law enforcement agencies around the world to investigate them. However, legal action against such imposters is dependent on local country legislations.

We would like to remind you that Citibank does not ask customers to provide sensitive information in this way. NEVER reply to such emails.

If you have responded to one of the emails giving personal information, please contact CitiPhone immediately on 111 222 222.

However, Citibank shall not be responsible in any manner incase an unauthorized transaction(s) had already taken place in your account(s) prior to such notification.
