Treasury department emerges as a leader in the local interbank

Apart from dealing in Foreign Exchange (FX) and Money Markets,
the Interbank desk participates actively in all Central Bank
operations, including T-Bill Auctions and Open Market Operations.
The main products traded on the FX desk include Ready and
Spot Outright Purchases/Sales as well as Swaps, while the
Money Market desk deals primarily in Repo and Reverse Repo
transactions.
