Citigroup has been recognised as the best arranger of syndicated loans. In January 2000, IFR recognised Citigroup as the overall "Bank of the Year" and "Loan House of the Year" for 1999. [link to ssb and Citibank sites] In January 1998, Citibank was awarded Best Arranger of Syndicated Loans by Euroweek. Citibank was also voted Best Foreign Bank for 31 of the 69 countries reviewed in July 1998.
