from your customer entitling you to debit their credit card account
each time the payment is to be made to you. Entries to customers
credit card account may be made for defined amount or variable amount
like the utility bills depending on requirement of your organization.
This arrangement could be made to receive payments on a weekly, monthly
or quarterly basis depending on the requirement.
What does it cost to have the Automatic Payment
A. Automatic payment system is a value added service for
our current merchants. It is absolutely FREE! Thats correct.
Citibank will give the automatic payment system for free to the
participating merchants. There are no hidden costs involved here.
What are the formalities involved in activating
Automatic Bill Payment?
A. To extend Automatic Bill Payment facility to your customer
you have to sign an agreement with Citibank. Thereafter, the necessary
arrangements would be made to enable Automatic Bill Payment.
How do I benefit from Automatic Bill Payment?
A. By availing the services of Automatic Bill Payment you
will not have to worry about collecting outstanding payments from
your customers. It prevents accumulation of outstanding receivables.
You now have a way to receive your dues from customers who are absent,
on vacation or simply lazy to pay their dues on time. Moreover,

Will Automatic Bill Payment be applicable
on all Credit Cards?

number, the expiry date of the card, amount of the transaction and
specific date when the account is to be charged each month. You

A. You are responsible for charging the customer's credit
card account at some predetermined date and for any incorrect charges
