Who should I contact for claims under the insurance policy?
You should contact the Claims Manager of ALICO (American Life Insurance Company (Pakistan) Limited) at 021-111 111 711 from anywhere in Pakistan.

How much time does it take to settle the claim?
Claim will be settled in 15 days subject to the completion of all formalities and documentation.

What documents are required for claims settlement?
Following documents are required for claims
settlement:
• Claimant statement
• Physician statement
• Original death certificate
• Hospital death certificate
• Original proof of age
• Original guardianship certificate
• In case of Permanent Total Disability, doctor’s or
hospital’s report is required that states and confirms the state of Disability

What is Permanent Total Disability?
Disability from bodily injury, sickness or disease which prevent the insured to work for compensation, profit or gain for rest of his life is recognized as Permanent Total Disability.


Is there any waiting period for the recognition of Permanent Total Disability?
Yes, there must be at least 9 continuous months elapsed from the commencement of Total Disability. However, in case of total and irrecoverable loss of sight of both eyes or loss by severance of two or more limbs, at or above wrist or ankle, the waiting period can be waived.

Who is the underwriter of “Life Plus Plan”?
ALICO (American Life Insurance Company (Pakistan) Limited) is the underwriter of the “Life Plus Plan”. It is a member company of American International Group, AIG, one of the largest insurance and financial services organizations in the world.
