Gas Stations Spending Limit

In order to safeguard customer interests and to mitigate potential frauds, we have limited the credit card transactions at fuel stations to a maximum of Rs. 10,000 per day.

Brief summary of this spending limit is:

  • Applies to credit card transactions at fuel stations only.
  • Maximum expenditure is Rs 10,000 per day per credit card.
  • There is no limit on the number of transactions. You can make any number of transactions at fuel stations as long as the TOTAL CUMULATIVE AMOUNT ON ONE CREDIT CARD does not exceed Rs. 10,000 in one day. Maximum amount of a SINGLE transaction is Rs. 10,000.
  • The limit is across all fuel stations and not a limit per station.
  • The limit is for each credit card. Therefore, if you have 2 credit cards, you can spend up to Rs 20,000, with 3 cards you can spend up to Rs 30,000, and so on.
  • This control is applicable on credit card transactions at fuel stations and thus applicable on total spending irrespective of whether expenditure is on CNG, petrol, diesel, oil changes, mart/shop etc.
  • This limit is applicable on the total amount of money charged on your credit card at fuel stations per day and thus applicable even if fuel is filled in more than one car but charged on one credit card.
