Term and Conditions

The slip generated at the time of submitting items/instruments through a drop box is only a memorandum of receipt of items / instruments submitted through the is drop box and said items/instruments are not examined / verified at time of receipt thereof.Items /instruments are received subject to subsequent verification / scrutiny and funds will be deposited / credited or payment will be effected subject to clearing of the subject items / instruments. Clearing and realization of funds of the items / instruments drawn on member banks may take three business days.

In receiving items / instruments through drop box, Citibank acts only as the customer’s / depositor’s collecting agent and assumes no responsibility for the realization of such items / instruments. Further, items / instruments are accepted through drop box subject to the condition / understanding that the customer’s / depositor assumes full responsibility for genuineness, validity and correctness of all signatures and endorsements appearing thereon.

Citibank will not be responsible for any delay or loss which may be caused due to a reason beyond its reasonable control.

Accepting of items / instruments and subsequent deposit and payment is governed by and subject to laws of Pakistan and Citibank, N.A., Pakistan shall be the sole place of payment and neither the head office / Citigroup nor any branch, subsidiary or affiliate or Citibank, N.A., shall be liable for any obligation in relation to the subject arrangement.

Receipt of items / instruments through drop box is your request for collection and subsequent deposit / transactions are subject to, in addition to the above, the terms and conditions applicable to the relevant account(s), copies of which can be obtained at any branch of Citibank N.A., Pakistan.
