Unique Global Treasury Platform Now Available in Pakistan

Karachi- Citibank N.A. Pakistan, a member of Citigroup, today launched Pakistan’s most innovative online platform serving treasury clients in the country. ‘CitiTreasury Interactive’ is one of the most efficient online platforms to have been developed and is currently being rolled out across 52 markets. Pakistan is one of the first ten markets to feature the new platform.

A flexible user-friendly program, CitiTreasury Interactive will provide treasury clients with a state-of-the-art online infrastructure through which foreign exchange transactions can be conducted in a real-time trading environment, with subsequent facilitation of Options and Interest Rate Swaps transactions.

Furthermore, treasury clients will be able to monitor live currency movements, trade at their own level and conduct USD/PKR transactions online all through a simple internet connection. In line with the State Bank of Pakistan’s regulations, CitiTreasury Interactive has been adapted to include cut-off times for USD/PKR transactions.

Given the distinctive features of CitiTreasury Interactive, Citigroup has developed easy and interactive group-based training programs for its clients, roll-out of which will coincide with the product’s launches in Lahore, Faisalabad and Islamabad during the upcoming quarter.
