		Citibank Credit Card Makes Dream Come True for the Lucky BMW Winner

An ecstatic Citibank credit card holder, Kashif Ahmed, drove away with an elegant 3 series BMW car, in a ceremony conducted by Citibank for its “Shop Big Win Bigger” campaign.

“Shop Big Win Bigger” was a simple and exciting promotion that offered the new and existing customers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to win a grand prize of a luxurious BMW 320i car as soon as they qualified for a new Citibank credit card or made a purchase using the card.

The campaign was launched earlier this year on April 28, 2006. There were two ways to enter this draw; on sign up for a new credit card as well as on spend. On a spend of Rs 5,000 each customer was eligible to one entry in the lucky draw. Every additional Rs 5,000 was treated as a multiple entry. On the other hand, a new sign up had two categories; a Silver Card holder qualified for one entry in the lucky draw whereas a Gold Card holder got three (3) entries.

The promotion expired on July 9, 2006 and lucky draw was conducted on July 31, 2006. Mr. Kashif Ahmed from Karachi, aged 35 years, a Citi Mobilink Credit Card holder won the car, which was handed over to him on Friday, October 13, 2006.

"It is such a pleasure to finally be able to witness the excitement of our customers for winning such great prizes; it is days like these that make us feel that we are right on track with our vision for the Citibank credit card. I think we can safely say we were as excited to meet the winner as he was for his name to be called,” said Zahid Mustafa, Cards and Insurance Business Head.

With a huge smile on his face, the winner, Kashif Ahmed said, “The first time I was told by Citibank representatives that I have won the BMW car, I couldn’t believe my luck. But here I am today, with my family, to receive the car keys and I can’t explain how big a moment this is for me. There are so many other banks in the market but I am definitely a lifetime loyal customer of Citibank, more so ever from now onwards.
