JSC Kazpost received a short-term loan from JSC Citibank Kazakhstan
 
 
JSC Kazpost, a postal services state company in Kazakhstan, received a short-term loan in the amount of 600 million tenge (1US$=134.01 tenge) from JSC Citibank Kazakhstan. Kazpost intends to use the proceeds for replenishment of working capital.

"We have chosen "Citibank Kazakhstan" since Kazpost needed a trusted bank to access short term funding under attractive terms" - said Mr. Arken Arystanov, Chairman of Kazpost.

"It is an honor for us to cooperate with Kazpost as one of the main lending banks, having developed successful relationships with state owned companies in Kazakhstan and postal companies around the world" - said Mr. Andrey Kourilin, Corporate Bank Head at Citibank Kazakhstan, Citigroup subsidiary in Kazakhstan.

Kazpost is the largest state company in Kazakhstan providing postal and agency financial services in the country. 100% of the company shares are owned by the state through the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Republic of Kazakhstan.
