Citi announced the opening of its Representative Office in Aktau, Caspian Region.

JSC “Citibank Kazakhstan”, a member of Citigroup, the leading global financial services company, opened its Representative Office in Aktau. The new office is located at Nur Plaza Business Center, 29-a district.

Citibank opened a representative office in Almaty in 1994. In 1998 Citibank Kazakhstan, a 100% subsidiary of Citigroup with a full banking license from the National Bank of Kazakhstan, opened its doors to corporate customers. Today Citibank Kazakhstan is a major lending, transactional and investment bank to Kazakhstani corporations and financial institutions, as well as Kazakhstani subsidiaries and representative offices of leading international companies.
