Citigroup today announced that the Hungarian Financial Supervisory
Authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Sajjad Razvi as the
new Citigroup Country Officer (CCO) for Citigroup in Hungary.
In addition to his CCO role, Mr. Razvi is the Division Executive
for Citigroup's Corporate and Investment Banking in the Central
Europe Division with its center in Budapest. In this capacity, he
is responsible for Citigroup's Corporate and Investment Banking
activities in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia and
Bulgaria. In addition, Mr. Razvi is also responsible for building
the Citigroup business in the non-presence countries in the Balkan
region and the Baltic region.
Mr. Razvi comes to the business in Hungary from previous roles
with Citigroup around the world. Most recently, he represented the
franchise in the United Arab Emirates as Citigroup Country Officer
and Managing Director of the Corporate and Investment Banking business.
Previously, he led the franchise in South Korea and Pakistan. He
has also held the post of Western Region Manager for SAMBA in Saudi
Arabia. He has been the Governor of AMCHAM Korea.
Sajjad Razvi is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management
Accountants, UK.
