Citibank Zrt. Hungary extends its financing facilities offering to its small business clients
February 1st, 2006. - Budapest

Citibank Zrt. Hungary, a member of Citigroup, today announced that is has introduced two new loan facilities for its CitiBusiness clients. Small businesses opening an account with Citibank Zrt. can now easily apply for a Welcome Credit Line and it takes only two working days after receiving the required complete documentation to make this facility available to the firms, subject to the credit assessment. The Loyalty Loan is offered to existing clients with active transaction history after one year of banking with Citibank Zrt.

Batara Sianturi, consumer Country Business Manager for Citibank Zrt. said: "As most firms need unsecured credit upon opening an account with us to finance their operations, we have decided to make immediate credit lines available to them as soon as they become our clients. Also, we wanted to reward our existing clients who do a lot of business with us with an opportunity to an easy and quick financing facility, therefore we introduced the Loyalty Loan with a higher ticket size."

"These are only the first steps in building our relationship with the small businesses, as we have a wide variety of credit facilities to offer to this business segment, including cash collateral, working capital and investment loans. We have redesigned our telephone customer service to allow our clients to manage their banking relationship with us in a more efficient way."- added Mr. Sianturi.

The Welcome Credit Line can be up to three percent of the annual net sales of the firm and is available in the range from HUF 600,000 to HUF 3 million. After one year, clients may change over to the Loyalty Loan, which can be up to six percent of the annual net sales of the business, maximum HUF 6 million.
