Citibank Rt. Launches CitiGold Wealth Planner Service
September 18th, 2003

As part of the CitiGold affluent banking service offered by Citibank Rt., a member of Citigroup, the bank today launches its CitiGold Wealth Planner, a software-based service unique to the Hungarian market which builds on investment recommendations based on the client's individual profile.

With the assistance of a dedicated CitiGold banker, the client's personal profile is created which contains details on risk appetite, financial capabilities and looks at the client's investment horizon and information on his/her financial goals. Based on this information, the CitiGold Wealth Planner will generate a proposal for an optimal investment portfolio. Portfolio selection includes a wide range of high-class Citibank and non-Citibank products. The software will soon be ready to use it for portfolio review, which allows customers to track back and re-balance their portfolio regularly.

Zdenek Turek, Citigroup Country Officer for Citibank Rt., said, "Hungary is the third market in Central Europe where we are launching this program after Poland and the Czech Republic. We believe that we will demonstrate significant value to customers by using this service as we take them through an approach in understanding their personal finances and by providing tailored solutions to meet their financial goals. This is clearly a need in the market and Citibank wants to take innovative lead in addressing it."

CitiGold products and services on offer include: current accounts, money market indexed accounts, savings accounts, local and foreign currency time deposits, market linked deposits, structured notes, Hungarian government bonds and T-bills, OECD bonds and a variety of onshore and offshore mutual funds. Credit cards and overdrafts are also part of the CitiGold product range.
